Bonjour

It's been a little while since I posted something on my blog. I did make a New Year's resolution to try and keep my blog more up to date but you all know how these resolutions seem to slip very quickly! Anyhow, I'm still in France at the Amida Retreat Centre. And already it is the middle of January! Crikey, time is passing very quickly indeed. I have been losing track of time here, been in a rhythm of getting up, morning service, brunch, wood work/carpentry work, dinner and evening service. We also have been enjoying movie nights on ocassion and visiting nearby towns. Me and Modgala have been going to a lot of second hand sales for furniture, curtains and kitchen stuff. We have found a charity warehouse staffed by people who are homeless, we have got some excellent bargains and met some charming locals. Me and Leo have embarked on a project of putting wooden panels on the eucurie (the stable) ceiling. It's quite a job since the beams are very non-linear, so we are developing patience working with this wood! I'll upload some photos very soon. Namo Amida Bu :)
